Extend the freshness manicure with your own hands: how to hide outgrown gel polish on nails at home?
Didn't have time to make an appointment? Sick? Or just don't have enough time to get away from work? Don't worry! These simple tips will help to extend the life of your manicure with gel-lacquer for a couple of weeks - and no one will even notice that it is transferred!

Gel varnish has won our love because of its durability - it allows you to forget about keeping your manicure for weeks on end. However, this coating has a downside: it is quite difficult to remove it at home, and the application process requires special skill and careful preparation.

This problem can be easily solved by simply calling your manicurist and making an appointment for a convenient time. But what to do if you can't get an appointment on time, and you have to wear gel varnish not for three weeks, but for five weeks or even longer? There are some great lifehacks for such cases!

How to hide the outgrown gel polish on your nails

Just take a lacquer with glitter and carefully paint over the overgrown area - and there you go, your manicure is as good as new! Finish off with a clear polish to strengthen the finish and add a fresh shine.

If you do not want to use glitter, you can choose an alternative option: glue a small pebble in the centre of the outgrown area of the nail and fix it with clear lacquer. This will create a stylish and minimalistic manicure.

Another way to use applications at the base of the nail is holographic ‘sheets’ or foil. They should be applied in a special way. First, cover all the nails with transparent varnish. While the lacquer has not had time to dry, with the help of tweezers carefully place the applications on the border of gel-lacquer, slightly going on both sides. After that, re-secure the manicure with clear polish.
