A trimming manicure is a standard procedure for many girls, but not the most beneficial for the nails. Regular cuticle removal can lead to increased cuticle growth and damage to the base of the nail. As a result, even a fresh manicure quickly loses its neat look due to overgrown cuticles. However, you can avoid this problem by following a few simple tips.
1. Don't cut the cuticle
Frequent cutting of the cuticle can lead to faster and denser cuticle growth. To avoid this, it is recommended to do an uncut manicure. This method uses a remuver that is applied to the cuticle to soften it. After a minute, when the cuticle becomes softer, it is gently pushed back with an orange stick or poucher.
2. Regular moisturising
We pay special attention to moisturising our facial skin, but we often forget to take care of our cuticles. Lack of nourishment and moisturising makes the skin around the nails dry, stiff, prone to cracks and rapid regrowth. Avoid these problems by regularly using hand creams and cuticle oils - add them to your beauty ritual and your nails will always look well-groomed.
3. Cuticle trimming after a shower
After a shower, when the skin of your hands is steamed, gently push back the cuticle with an orange stick. Do it even if it seems invisible - this way you prevent its active growth. Once a day is enough to significantly slow down cuticle growth and keep your nails looking well-groomed.
4. Baths
Mix a few drops of peach or apricot oil with a teaspoon of liquid soap and a glass of warm water. Dip your fingers in the solution for 20-30 minutes - the denser the cuticle, the longer it will take to soften it. For a noticeable effect, repeat the procedure for 10 days, and then use the bath once a week to maintain the result.

5. Iodine rubbing
Mix 20ml of any oil with 7-10 drops of iodine, adding it directly to the oil bottle for convenience. Shake the mixture thoroughly. Apply the remedy to the nail plate and cuticle, rubbing gently until completely absorbed. Repeat the procedure daily for 10 days, then use once a week for maintenance care.
