Strawberry Face Mask at Home: Top 3 Best Recipes for Different Skin Types
Strawberries are not only a delicious fruit but also a natural source of salicylic acid, widely used in over-the-counter acne treatments. They gently exfoliate the skin, help remove dead cells, and effectively cleanse pores. Thanks to these properties, strawberries make an excellent ingredient for homemade face masks.

The recipes below are suitable for normal, oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. Although the fresh strawberry season lasts from late spring to early summer, you can also use frozen organic berries—just store them in the freezer and thaw before use. Before applying, let the strawberries fully thaw and come to room temperature.

Important: Salicylic acid can dry out the skin and cause irritation, so those with dry or sensitive skin should use these masks with caution or avoid them altogether.

Top 3 Best Strawberry Face Mask Recipes

1. Strawberry and Yogurt Face Mask
If you want to brighten your skin tone and reduce the appearance of acne, this strawberry and yogurt face mask is an excellent choice. The yogurt in the mask gently soothes irritated skin, leaving you with a feeling of freshness and comfort.

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup of strawberries
• 1/4 cup of sour cream or plain yogurt

Allow the strawberries and yogurt to come to room temperature. Then, blend them together until smooth in a blender, or mash with a fork (a blender will give a creamier texture). Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

2. Strawberry and Honey Face Mask
Ingredients

• 4–5 strawberries
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Cut off the stems of the strawberries and place them in a blender along with the other ingredients. Blend the mixture for 30 seconds until smooth. Apply the resulting mask to your entire face and leave it on for 15 minutes until fully dry. Rinse with warm water and finish your skincare routine by applying a moisturizer.

3. Strawberry, Honey, and Brown Sugar Face Mask for Acne
.
This mask for acne-prone skin combines strawberries with honey, lemon juice, and brown sugar to gently firm and refresh the skin. The natural salicylic acid in strawberries helps fight breakouts, while honey and lemon nourish and tone the skin. Brown sugar acts as a gentle yet effective exfoliant, removing dead skin cells and leaving the skin smooth. Store the mask in the refrigerator for up to 12 hours — a chilled mask feels especially soothing when applied.

Ingredients

• 6 fresh strawberries
• 1 tbsp honey
• 1 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Remove the stems from the strawberries and place the berries in a blender. Add a little lemon juice, brown sugar, and honey. Blend everything into a smooth paste. If the mixture is too runny, add a teaspoon of flour (or a bit more if needed) to thicken it. Apply the mask to your face for 10 minutes, then gently remove it with a warm, damp cloth.
